Feyre has returned to the Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlin's maneuverings and the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees. But to do so she must play a deadly game of deceit-and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well.
As war bears down upon them all, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords-and hunt for allies in unexpected places.
In this thrilling third book in the #1 New York Times bestselling series from Sarah J. Maas, the earth will be painted red as mighty armies grapple for power over the one thing that could destroy them all.
Review:
“You belong to all of us, and we belong to you.”
Absolutely epic and amazing…and those aren't the only words
that i would use to describe this epic book! It was an amazing, perfect and
mind-blowing story and i can't wait to read what will happen next with
Feyre,Rhys and the rest.
I was so excited to read this and i expected something
huuuge to happen, because after how A Court Of Myst and Fury ended i hoped that
something epic would happen. But,i did not expect this! No way. It was more
than i expected,it was brilliant and well written, full of surprises and
many, many ups and downs. Why full or surprises? Because a lot of things
happened-mainly how some characters appeared and all the alliances that were
made.
This time Feyre knows that she has to do everything in her
powers to get away from Tamlin,to go back at her Court and her mate. Playing a
dangerous game and trying to find a way to manipulate what was happening, she
never thought that one way or another her plan maybe will succede but with a
cost. Playing with Tamlin's mind might be easy, but those mind tricks didn't
work on Lucien . Will Feyre's plan work? Will she be able to go back home and
fight beside her mate against Hybern? What will happen next with Feyre and
everyone else? Can she escape it all especially if Hybern sent someone to keep
an eye on her?
Desperation. Motivation. War. Fear. Powers. Mind tricks. But
what conquers all is true love.
From now on i will always remember all those feeling i felt
while i was reading this book,so many emotions that i can't describe, but
emotions i feel only when i read something written by this author. I loved
everything from the beginning. I hated how some scenes happened. But at the end
i almost jumped up and down ,because i was very, very happy. This is how a book
should end. Every book. All books. An happy ending after all those awfull and
hard chapters full of blood, fighting and despair.
Yet,what i adored the most about this book:the fact that
even when the worse was happening true friendship and love conquered all. It
was truly inspiring and the best.
Brilliant. Heartbreaking. A world full of never-ending
battles and surprises. A world full of thorns and roses-roses that among
cruelty bloom and change everything. Roses that, despite the thorns, make a path
for those who want the world to be better and happier for everyone. That's how
i see this book, this amazing adventure.
It was amazing how all the characters evolved, especially
Feyre. How she became something powerfull, something extraordinare-yet someone
who still remained a little human. Someone who fought for what she deserved, but
not only for her but for everyone else. The way she evolved? It was the best
and i couldn't imagine anything else for her. A true High Lady with a path full
of surprises but a heart prepared for eveything. Brilliant and strong. Fae but
not quite. A girl who has been through hell but does not regret anything. So
far,she became one of my favorite character, even if at the beginning of this
journey,in A Court Of Thorns and Roses i didn't like her much. Now? My opinion
changed forever.
“I would have waited five hundred more years for you. A
thousand years. And if this was all the time we were allowed to have... the
wait was worth it.”
Rhysand's the one who always surprised me. In A Court Of
Myst and Fury he did some things that made me realize what and who he really
was,but now? I'm 100% sure that he is the only High Lord from this series that
could do anything-bad or good-and i would never think bad about him. I loved
the way he was thinking, how quickly found a way to win or get something. How he
protected his people and friends, especially Mor,Amren,Azriel,Cassian and
Feyre, even if it meant he had to sacrifice himself. It wasn't something that i
enjoyed to read about but the fact that he was willing to do that explains what
kind of male he was. Absolutely terrfying but at the same time brilliant. A
brilliant mind prepared for the worst but not prepared to give up. Something
happend to him in this book -something that broke my heart. But my heart almost
jumped out of my chest when i've read what happened next.
“You belong to all of us, and we belong to you.”
Mor,Cassian,Amren and Azriel. Those characters are
absolutely amazing. All the things they did in this book, all the declarations
and how they exposed what they were feeling. All the bad and ugly things
they've been through could have broken them but that never happened. It was
epic to read about them how they fought in the battle againsy Hybern. The
determination, need and desperation was what kept them alive and it was
gloriously epic how they handled everything, even if they've been through hell.
Those four beside Feyre and Rhys could rattle the earth if they wanted but yet
they chose to save everything,to battle against evil to save them all-faeries
and humans.
“I didn’t know how long my sisters and I lay there together,
just like we had once shared that carved bed in that dilapidated cottage.
Then—back then, we had kicked and twisted and fought for any bit of space, any
breathing room. But that morning, as the sun rose over the world, we held
tight. And did not let go.”
Nesta and Elain. Those two characters were not how i
expected them to be and i waited to see what they were capable to do. I admit
that Nesta was cruel and cold but i guess after what happened to her i didn't
expect her to be anything else. And Elain? She was the one who truly broke my
heart. She changed so much and wasn't the same happy Elain. But,i guess,in a
way i hoped some things to changed for them, something to show them thay being
Made fae wasn't horrible and that being beside Feyre would be better than
nothing. Oh my heart, how things changed after the awfull battle wih Hybern,
after everything that happened with the Cauldron. It was better and i hoped it
will be much better in the next book.
Lucien. I was so dissapointed in him in A Court Of Myst and
Fury. I truly liked him in he first book but step by step he started to do
things that…let's just say that those things made me think less of him. But
now? Lucien,my friend, where did you hide your true face and heart? Welcome back,my fox. Welcome back.
Crazy things happened. Crazy but epic. Epic and brilliant.
Between what was happening and how everything ended,i don't have enough words
to say what i have on my mind. Surprises after surprises. New characters and
more. Names that were only spoken about-legends whispered- appeared in flesh
and bones. Old grudges transformed into ashes in a matter of moments just for a
few seconds.
The other courts- Day,Dawn,Summer,Winter, Autumn
,Spring..Courts that fought against Hybern. Courts that allied with humans to
bring down the enemy and protect everything, even if that meant everything had
to change again. It was pretty epic how a few court were descriebed and i loved
every single word, even if at some point i wanted to shake some sense into
someone or pump my fist in the air and shout that it wasn't fair. Yes,there
were a few scenes that kept me on my toes and made me anxious. Yes,i didn't
know what to do with myself when i had to take little brakes when i couldn't
read because i had to do something else. But now? After reading everything?
After knowing everything i know? I'm not sure what i'm really feeling. Shocked.
Amazed. A little speechles(even if after all i've wrote about i didn't seem
like i'm speechless). Thrilled to announce that i will recommend this series to
everyone i know and everyone i will meet. Anxiously waiting to know what will
happen next.
